Community Leadership Program

Community Leadership Program

Greater Iowa City, Inc.’s premier leadership program was created in 1990 to foster informed, well-equipped, invested leaders. Through the program’s life, more than 700 current and future leaders have gained insight into the issues, opportunities, strengths and challenges within our community. CLP is a year-long program, including 11 sessions on the various sectors of our community. Applications open each spring. For questions regarding CLP, contact Mackenzie DeRoo at mackenzie@greateriowacity.com

Applications for the 2024-2025 CLP cohort are open!

Application Deadline: June 28, 2024 at 5:00pm

Tuition: $2,500

2024-2025 Schedule

CLP is programmed by volunteers from across the community who use their experience and connections to create a truly unique program. CLP participants are provided access to people and places they wouldn’t otherwise have, allowing them to personally engage with area leaders and learn more about what’s currently happening in our community.
