Successful communities and resilient economies thrive on a vibrant dance between public and private sectors. Imagine a space that amplifies that harmony. That is the vision behind Greater Iowa City, Inc. (Greater IC)’s revamped Lunch Connections series, designed to ignite opportunities, empower connection, and fuel community and economic progress. This isn’t just a networking event series; it’s a catalyst for business and community innovation.
Forging New Links: Gone are the days of exclusive gatherings. Our door is wide open, regardless of business size or investment in Greater IC. Welcoming all voices to the table will serve as a catalyst to activate new ideas, solutions, and business endeavors. Everyone, from seasoned veterans to budding entrepreneurs, is encouraged to engage, collaborate, and forge partnerships that unlock mutual success. As a bonus, all venues and restaurants are able to host Lunch Connections if they meet the needs of the event. This offers more variety in food and venues and supports more local restaurants with our business.
Inside the City Plans: City plans and projects won’t be shrouded in mystery anymore. Each event will highlight a crucial initiative, event, or opportunity/resource for businesses. Attendees will hear from key city officials, engage in open dialogue, and gain invaluable insights into the projects that define our cities’ trajectory.
Programming to Fuel Progress: Networking connects the dots, but learning fuels action. We are adding a 15-minute presentation, featuring industry experts and/or city officials. Each Lunch Connection will include dedicated networking time, lunch, and a short presentation, equipping attendees with insight and connections to drive meaningful change.
Join us to network, learn, and collaborate. Together, let’s build a greater Iowa City area where dreams rise alongside development, and inclusive support echoes in every handshake.
North Liberty Coffee Connections will continue on the first Friday of each month from 7:30 – 8:30am with networking time, coffee, and snacks.
