Rural Development

Greater Iowa City rural areas have a stable and growing economy; each community has an increasing business mix.

They are working to improve their downtown climate, with plans to add housing developments. The unincorporated areas have land, buildings, and workforce ready to support your business. Maintaining their small town pride, these communities are ready to grow and strengthen their assets.

Greater Iowa City, Inc’s Rural Development Director, Sarah Thompson, works with Johnson County to ensure that starting or moving your business here is simple and supported.

Agri-CULTURE Iowa
