Iowa City is holding a special election on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 to fill the vacant City Council seat that represents District C in Iowa City. All Iowa City residents are eligible to vote in this special election. While Greater Iowa City, Inc. is a non-partisan entity and does not formally endorse or donate to candidates, we do encourage our members to be informed on the issues and vote for business and community-friendly candidates and initiatives when they go to the polls.
We asked candidates to answer what they hope to accomplish during their term in office and how it will benefit the business community. Because promoting bipartisanship and collaboration is important to our members, we also asked candidates to describe their approach to working with people with whom they disagree.
